Practice Areas

Boris Strijlev has practical experience in the fields of company and commercial law, real estate, legal representation under civil, administrative and commercial disputes, digital/IT law, consumer protection and cyber security.
Mr. Strijlev is engaged in the provision of complex legal servicing to the clients of Penkov, Markov & Partners within their business activities, including: consultations in various areas of civil and commercial law, preparation of documents, opinions, legal analyses, as well as participation in court and arbitration proceedings.


Projects

Some of the larger-scale projects Mr. Strijlev has been involved in include: advising Unilink on the acquisition of I&G Insurance Brokers; legal representation of companies from the Arteks group under legal proceedings against the regulatory bodies in relation to the Zlaten Vek project; judicial representation of Toto Costruzioni Generali SpA before the EU Court of Justice under preliminary proceedings in connection with a dispute raised against the Polish state; supporting AUDI AG on the implementation of digital platforms and mobile applications on the Bulgarian market and overall compliance with the Bulgarian consumer legislation; participation in due diligence of the legal status and history of real estate on projects of Arteks, Enikom Sofia-Sever Global Biomet, Biomed, Phoenix Capital, etc.; drawing up contracts for the use of software by end users for Tiger Technologies; supporting Osam and GTM - Angel Balevski Holding in connection with contracts for supply of pig iron; assistance to Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co in relation to the drafting of a shared satellite service agreement with Endurosat; assistance in restructuring the control and stake participation in Tech-Co, etc.
Mr. Strijlev is part of the teams providing complex service to clients such as: Zlatna Panega Cement, BA Glass Bulgaria, Mondi Stambolijski, NetCredit, Electrip Bulgaria, Sella Commerce, Balkan Star Retail and others.
He has been involved in conferences and also as lead lector on topics related to the provision of digital services and digital content in the context of consumer protection.
