Vyara Tomova is attorney-at-law at Penkov, Markov & Partners law firm. She has a practical experience in the area of Commercial and Corporate Law, Labour and Migration Law, Contract and Competition Law, Insurance Law and litigation. She has participated in the preparation and execution of plenty of legal due diligences and statements for Bulgarian and international companies.

The highlight in her practice in the last two years is in the field of personal data protection law.

Furthermore, she is an active member of the specialized working groups in the law firm, which provide any kind of legal assistance in energy law, energy and resource efficiency, regulatory regimes in pharmaceutical law and the trade with medicinal products, labour migration and labour mobility.
 

Projects

As a member of the team of Penkov, Markov & Partners law firm on a daily Ms. Tomova provides basis legal advices to clients; drafts necessary legal documents, written legal statements and memorandums; conducts researches on the legislation and the court and regulatory practice.

Within her participation in the specialized working group “Personal Data Protection” Ms. Tomova has provided legal assistance regarding GDPR compliance and also national legislation compliance to plenty of Bulgarian and international companies, among which are the following entities: AEC Kozlodui EAD, Bulgartransgaz EAD, Toplofikacia EAD, Municipal Bank AD, Commerce Bank D AD, Pireus Bank Bulgaria AD, National Bureau of Bulgarian Motor Insurers, Colonnade Insurance AD, Vienna Insurance Group, etc.

Vyara Tomova participates in the working group in the law firm, which focus is put on the relocation process of foreign citizens to Bulgaria. In this regard, she has solid professional experience in the field of labour and migration law, including in the procedures for granting work permit and residence permit.

She has participated in the following legal due diligences: Sell of a large portfolio of credit dossiers by Unicredit Bulbank; Statement to labour law and social security law issues, provided to HCL Technology Ltd. with regard to upcoming relocation process of foreign citizens to Bulgaria, etc.
