Mr. Tsanov has practical experience in the fields of company law, banking law, project and structured finance, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and insolvency, litigation on civil, commercial and administrative judicial proceedings. He has been involved in preparing legal due diligence reports in the field of mergers and acquisitions of corporate clients, as well as in projects of full consulting services of clients in relation to public tenders. Since 2017, Mr. Tsanov has been included in the list of persons who may be appointed as insolvency administrators in insolvency proceedings under the Commercial Law.
Mr. Tsanov participated in a project related with the legal due diligence and the joint venture implementation and the sale of the undertaking of a large corporate client (Nestlé and R&R create Froneri JV).
Prepared agreements and other documents in relation to a project of several major Bulgarian banks of restructuring of a syndicated loan facility, subordinated to the law of England and Wales, but secured with property located in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Prepared contracts for institution of securities under Bulgarian law and the following registration with the competent registries in relation to bank loans with international lenders whereas the guarantors and co-debtors were Bulgarian companies.
Participated in negotiations, drafting and execution of framework agreements on special financial instruments (ISDA, GMRA), their schedules and any confirmations relating to such agreements.
Consulting and assisting international corporate client in relation to an open procedure under the Law on Public Procurement regarding tender for ‘Design, Building and Management of a System for Issuance of Bulgarian Identity Documents Generation 2019’.
